My car was in the calender last year and I didn't feel comfortable submitting again this year. I'm not saying I would have been chosen again but why even take a chance of keeping someone else from being chosen.

Ditto, this was my reason exactly. Maybe next year if I get the new Cuda  dual cutout rear valance on it.

Since fewer people voted this year, is it possible there are just fewer people participating or contributing regularly to the site?
I am probably rare in that I actually took some of your threads as a challenge to produce a better and more interesting picture this year. I took enough photos at different scenic locations over the past few months that I have enough different (and I think great) shots for the next few calendars! Though I also feel it might be a good idea I take next year off, there are a LOT of great looking cars on here. I am not a photographer, but there were a number of incredible cars that professional photography would have made all the difference in the world. IMO every car that was submitted has the potential to make magazine covers. Its all in the presentation.
Many of us are not very good at photography. Probably many of us dont even use a camera, and thats why some have even offered to take the photos. That shows the great camaraderie here. Like a body man offering to help a wrencher. We all have our skills, and our weak spots.

That has occurred to me. Like most groups I've been part of, c-c.c has a small core of extremely active members, a large group of pretty active members, and then the vast majority, who post a handful of time. It may be that calendar participation is what it's going to be, and that's OK. I just don't want people to be left out if there's a way for them to participate and they're interested.

I'd vote for yours Brad . Most cars that are driven look better in the pitchers .There is a million things wrong with mine but you only live once and I'm going to drive mine . My thoughts are a strickly show car would be like a job cleaning all the time and never playing with it . :burnout:

Same here-I took this year off b/c I`ve been in it a couple times and also didn`t get much `cuda time this year as I had personal things to deal with.Next year I`ll have to get some new pics.I already have a couple ideas that are not just the usual still pics(but not a burnout).  :naughty:

Overall the site seems to be lacking the traffic/posts it had a few years back.

Any other ideas?
For those of us new to the forum/calender is it possible to show the monthly photos from previous years?  Maybe month by month thru the year or by the year for quick easy viewing of all prior years photos.

Newbie this yr. Felt older members should be in calendar.
Then I thought hel I'm 72 so age should prevail. Didn't enter any;.
Don't have fancy camera to take quality pic.

Took some fall color pic's this weekend but the trees are just turning and are drab.
Found this single tree in a mall parking lot.

I think that ChallengerHK -David has really done a great job in helping members take high quality shots for the calendar. The submissions are not for judging the condition of the car, but how the total image reflects the passion we all have for cudas and challengers.  Just remember to have your digital camera set at the highest resolution and have some FUN!   :picture:
