I understand how frustrating it can be to lay out a lot of funds on these vehicles and then to come find out that everything did not meet your expectations. I get it and you have a right to be upset. As you noted, some of that "upset" falls on your sholders for not flying in at a key point to make sure the work was being done to your expectations.
I can tell you first hand that everything Mopar costs 4 to 10 times as much as your Chevy or Ford projects. And, from looking at the pictures of the work done, it looks like quality, although if there are chips in the paint, that's something Gary should have taken care of either doing the work or reimbursement to you. Doing this big of a restoration takes a great amount of time, effort, knowledge, skill and $. I can tell you that Gary is a good guy. Good to do business with. Offers quality parts at less than retail pricing. And buddy, don't forget---------- you have a very DESIREABLE, 1970 RT with the numbers matching motor! That puts you close to the top of the collector car food chain. So, let's work through the issues with the advice of all members here and with the help of all those local to you that are willing to come over and spend a Saturday at your place for the cost of a beer.
