Snowing . . .
« on: November 10, 2011 - 03:49:08 PM »
Well I know alot of members have already seen the white stuff falling where they are but this is my first encounter with it since the warmth of summer.  Still alot to do outside before any serious snow so I hope the few flurries we are getting now is all I see for the next week or so.  Weather guy is saying mid 50's this weekend but we all know they don't know sh!t.   :screwy:

This will be alot of us soon . . .

I went up to April's place in upstate N.Y. two weekends ago for her Halloween party. I guess they got 6 or 7" of snow. The lights went out 30 minutes before the party started.   :22yikes:   We still had a great time. Thank goodness for candles and some die hard party people.

I just wish I had taken the chrome wheels off my car BEFORE they got a salt bath.    :crying:

Just one of me and her in the darkness.

She was better putting on make-up by flashlight than I was.

This is what I woke up to a couple of weeks ago. The tree fell down the middle of my driveway.

I know some of you would be surprised to find out that it does snow in California, but it does! Here's a couple of pictures from a trip out to my folks' house a little over a week ago.

And yes, I drive my challenger in the snow. And even on dirt roads that don't get plowed in the snow! Although, in my own defense, they don't salt the roads out here.

Here is where I work.
Not a very flattering picture.
Snow started up here about three weeks ago.

Here is where I have been Archery hunting.
About 6 hours to the east of where I live and work

a friends deer on the same day. Just to show some snow out east.

Last year Mount Whitney in So Cal. had over 20 feet.
The most accumulation in one place than anywhere in all 50 states.
