Just wondering...
« on: November 11, 2011 - 01:49:21 PM »
Hi, just wondering how hard it would be to find a grill for  71 or 72 - 74 Cuda. I don't require one yet but I am thinking about starting a project and 1 of the cars I am kind of looking at is a 73 cuda and it would need a grill for sure among other things. Since I had to part with my 71's if I could make it look like a 71, that would be fine with me. If not then keeping it looking like a 73 or whatever i decide to buy would also be fine.

Thanks,

Mel

There is almost always a few to be had at any given time.

Moparts usually will have a few. I do believe there are a few on there now.

As 'Cuda Hunter said, there always seem to be a few floating around.  They do seem to command a premium in price, so depending on your budget that might be a real deal breaker.

Good point.  The ones lately have been at that premium price.

It's always a good idea to hagle with some of them anyway.

Thanks for the info guys. I am definitely not in any rush. I also need to make sure what I do buy is a project I can handle so I won't be jumping into anything too quickly.

Thanks again,

Mel

I would keep it a 73' and not morph it into a 71'.  :2cents:

In the future, these cars will be worth more once again.
It could be a long wait the way things are economically.
