How bout some pics.

Can you clarify why cars were built better or worse in MI. and CA?

I've never heard anyone say before, that this location made better Mopars than the other location.

Just an observation from seeing cars built at Hamtramck vs California....My opinion the cars that came out of Cali were built better... :dunno:

I could speculate that myself from what you say. It was a production plant doing much less than Hamtrack.
Workers could put in a little more effort on their assemblies as they rolled along. Less pressure I would imagine.

Still need physical evidence to support that claim.

What dealership in CA was it first sold at?
Was it a bay area car?

Well to vouch for Demon340 - I know this car well and it is beautiful. As far as the fitment of panels and gaps the car is one of the nicest I've seen. I'm not a huge fan of F8, but the paint on this car changed my mind for sure.

This is a good deal for someone looking to get into an E body with some pedigree.  Car runs and drives perfect.

Up for sale is my all #'s matching 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 U-Code 4-speed 3.54 Dana F8 Green car. I have owned the car for over 8 years...The car was built and spent all it's life in California up until I purchased it in 2003. Now the cuda resides in NJ and has been my pride and joy ever since. Only 1 of 334 built...  This car is all numbers matching from the ORIGINAL 4739 Carter California 4-speed carb to the 3.54 dana. All body numbers match and car retains it's original fender tag(california cars mostly did not come with build sheets). The paint on this car is spectacular and really shows well...Engine runs strong and retains most original parts other than distributor and headers(includes original correct exhaust manifolds). Interior has been upgraded to rallye gauges and original leather seat covers but also shows very well.

Only bad is the car engine compartment was painted black :clueless:

The good.. Car runs and drives like a dream! I would drive anywhere. Paint is again Very Very nice and needs some small attention to details in the engine compartment but, retains most original equipment including 956 Radiator, intake manifold, valve covers, carb and air cleaner assembly. Recently had the only problem area replaced...trunk pan, extensions and new gas tank( original trunk mat retained some moisture and I wanted the car as close to perfect as could be...All AMD parts used...

You will not be disappointed!!

$45,000. firm call me or PM...

I've bought my last 3 cars from this site, and will eventually buy an AAR here once the right car/project comes along.   :woo:
