    did the 70-71 shaker hoods have lighter weight hood springs???
    my hood bows up slightly at the front of the hood hinge towards the headlights.repro hood.after shimming the fenders its still there..
    iv'e seen pictures of some that do and dont..luck of the draw??or like everything else on the ebody's they fit great or could be better...tony.

    no , they used the same spring as all steel hoods
