new fron TN
« on: November 14, 2011 - 10:17:44 AM »
Hello, just got my cuda last week it's a numbers matching 72 not original color tho its gy9 tawny gold met.I've been around mopars all my life(and thats  been ahwile).First was a 72 satellite  which is gone now.I have a 72 cuda with the r26 radio option which is the am radio with cassette.Well from what I've read the console mount was a 71 option only, the thing is this car was biult in 11-71 and sold or picked up 12-71 so it may have been ordered with the console mount radio with the mic.So is this an extremely rare setup.the car is a matching # 340 car.
I bought a 70 dart a couple months ago then i ran across the cuda at a far price so I grabbed it.

I plan to restore it back to as original as possible.with the exception of the color my son and wife wants green.I like purple, sublime or black.Since the PO painted it pruple and did a good job of covering everything that would be the easiest option. It can always be painted back to its gy9 tawny gold mat. later.Or i may go all original and paint it gy9 and be done with it,I like the gold also. But first i have to finish the dart lol.no way am i working on two cars at the same time.

I just visited my sister in Gallatin a few months ago and liked it enough to consider moving to the area next year.
