nice  :2thumbs:   Looks a bit more orange than I would have expected.  Then again,  If you took the same picture a few hrs earlier or later, my opinion would probably chance as much as the color....
Can`t wait to see it finished  :bigshades:

...and continues,
despite the cold, I forge ahead..

Front K member, upper and lower control arms, ball joints, support rods, torsion rods, tie rods, rear differential, leaf springs, hubs, all reworked/ rebuilt, new bushings, blasted and painted and mounted.
It is finally sitting on the ground, on its own tires.
next is to be engine bay and firewall paint, jam and inside shell paint.
all major body components are back on car and adjusting /sanding for those "perfect" body lines.

decided to leave 4 drum brakes, as plenty of stopping power, plus no matter what disc and pad material used, it seems to destroy rims very quickly.

Also begun engine rebuild and planning on painting the engine bay and body inside very soon!

well getting very close to laying paint inside and out, but decided to replace outer rocker panels, as its the only part I have not separated, reworked or replaced, (don't want rust stains appearing out of these in a few years). located a very nice new set , cut off old ones (glad I did) blasted, etched sealed and painted then installed new outers. they fit and looks great, and no rust!
got AAR fiberglass front bumper and modified it to reflect the 71 elastomeric version, welded and glassed in steel support in bumper to bolt to original bumper brackets, killer.
also received 71 correct trunk lid to accept gull wing.
mounted all panels on car and as the wife says "it actually looks like  a car!"

post pics tomorrow.

new driver and pass outer rockers
new trunk lid
pre-new outer rocker, blasted outside of inner/prep
