lca swaybar bracket
« on: November 14, 2011 - 06:41:42 PM »
O.k. so I'm attempting to make my own brackets for an e body. Does anybody have
a lca they could measure. I need to know how far above the jounce pad surface
the swaybar bracket sits?  Is it terribly critical?
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Thanks Brad, I thought you might chime in. By the way, the scematic
you sent was cool. Thanks for that as well. I can't say that mine look
anywhere near as good looking as yours, but they will work.

I just restored a couple sets.... I'll get some photos and measurements.  Stand by:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Thanks.  The paint is 3 tones of different shades to make it look like Cosmoline.

Good luck with your set!  I'm sure you'll do great.... post an update when you get them done.   :2thumbs:

Wow do I feel stupid. Brad, I used your pictures for reference, ground the 1/2 moons to clear
the rib on your lca. Then I looked at your's Cody. You don't have a rib. Then I looked at mine. DOH!
I sure am glad I didn't weld them on yet. I was looking at the wrong side. Don't even need the
notch on mine. Mine look just like Cody's ( only not as pretty). Thanks for all the pictures. Sure
would of looked stupid trying to hook up the swaybar behind the lca's   :stomp:
