If you make that late August, early September, you'll probably be joined by a Dutch Challenger...

That would be awesome Roland, perhaps we can make that happen,Sept.would be a good bet, due to less heat in the desert ,is the only reason to do it in the fall ,it is a little cooler out there in Kowalski land......................

I'm planning a trip form Texas (where container boat will arrive and leave) to Black Rock Desert and back to Texas.
Driving with my Challenger through the south west part of the US (Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah) and along the way visiting some VP movie locatons/roads.
In Black Rock Desert I want to visit the last day(s) of Burning Man, hence the August/September period. (BM: Aug 27 - Sep 3).

I know this is a bit topic hijacking, but I could use some input for this mega-trip. Most important, want kind of government rules am I facing when driving a foreign car for a few weeks in the US. And are there any other concerns?

Great video!!

Roland, start a new thread on government regulations and I am sure you will get lots of information on it.

Hi Drew,

I followed 'Cuda Hunter's suggestion and made a new topic: Driving a Dutch Challenger in the US; what government rules am I facing?
Let's continue in that topic.

Very cool video, I made it out that way a few months back and stopped in Cisco. I may be up for the Fall 2012 trip sounds cool!
