Hi All-
My daily driver is this adorable 2004 5.7L Hemi Rumble Bee. Advertised as limited production of 3,700 trucks; roughly half of them in Solar Yellow with a black Rumble Bee stripe. The RB package comes with ground effects, hood-scoop, interior yellow spears on the door panels with a Rumble Bee bee, and the dash plaque surrounding the radio with your vehicle production number. Mine is 2929.
Since everyone here is a Mopar fan, I don’t mind saying that she’s a typical Chrysler product. Non-functioning hood-scoop, lots of stickers/accents, 3.91 non-sure grip) rear, a 5.7 Hemi with nothing special about it; it’s the same engine that was available in any Hemi equipped vehicle.
Just like the 60’s Bee she’s fashioned after, there’s ways for the owner to upgrade. Some of the mods are: tinted windows, Magnaflo exhaust, aFe cold air intake, rear sway bar, Edelbrock shocks, EBC brakes, and the best performance upgrade – a Superchips Flashpaq. Installing the Flashpaq this Hemi will now set you back in the seat when running WOT.
Don’t get me wrong, I really like my Bee. She runs fast and handles well, and getting around 15 MPG. That’s my fault, probably could get 2 MPG but my right foot loves to use the accelerator pedal. Going around all those Preuss’s getting 50 MPG is fun.
Thanks for your time,
Ron
