Hi guys, here is my STR14 crossram intake as requested, I will be running it on a 472 stroker 440 in my 1968 Dodge Dart sedan delivery. :2thumbs:

Will do! I'll have to wait till Christmas though as I most likley will get Slotts to send it to my in-laws in PA ( they are coming here for Christmas)  I also got the six pack lid too so down the road I might try a six pack set up too? The seller said the person he got the intake from has NOS six pack carbs for it still in the packaging he just can't find them in his garge yet. He said when he gets them he will give me a call first!  :2thumbs:
That would be kinda cool to say each summer try out a new induction style? Nice to have options! :2thumbs:

The manifold mods for the 6 pack are different than the mods for the 4 bbl.  You will have to choose which you want to use or compromise. I have another of these set up for the 6 pack.  I have always run it on my 6 pack Challenger.  It likes RPM's.  It likes the 4 speed and it does not like idling. Last time I had it out running, it was with a 11:1 440.  The cam was the DC 590 lift.  I idled the motor at 1000 to 1200 rpm.  I ran a 4:88 gear with a 27 inch tire. My carbs are the scat pack carbs.  They are mechanical linkage with accelerator pumps.  The vacuum carbs were not happy with this set up.

Good to know! Thanks! I'm gonna have to reasearch the mods again. I think they are in the post I started "STR-14 I need an education"

I would run a pop out or blow out pressure release valve on the base also.  If something ever happens to your motor and it backfires the tops are notorious for cracking.  The valve is cheap insurance for the manifold.

Ok I know what you mean, got one on my air compessor too. ....Just thinking ..? that won't work as it needs to work the opposite way no? :clueless:  Wonder if the turbo crowd has something? :thinkerg:

Hey Brad, I will do some snooping and get back to you with what would be a sufficient modification for a blow off valve, i was actually thinking of something along the line of what is used on a Blower manifold  :2thumbs:

That is an awesome idea.  I know a system was built for a 63 Chrysler 300F with the long tube crossram for the same reason.  It may have been Fast that built it.

hummmm that would be cool!
 I was thinking of the mods recomended for a 4 bbl and then a six pack. Wondering if I could machine in removeable aluminum inserts so I could go back and forth if I wanted?.
