White faced gauge conversion for standard gauges
« on: January 18, 2005 - 12:54:33 AM »
I now offer a set of white decals for the standard ebody gauges. they are printed on heavy duty exterior grade vinyl, like the rt stripe kits, so they hold up really well. Pictured is a set I did.

Looks real good to me

But then again, I'm in the minority cause I like the standard guage cluster better than the rally cluster. ;)

These go for $40+$7 shipping.  They come in a cardboarded bubble wrapped mailer to prevent denting.  I like to put a small white face tach in that blank spot on the end.  Looks real slick with the black bezel.  I have some listed on ebay, item # 7948674846.  I will probably list this cluster as well, as i have a couple extras.

Do you have to cut them out your self? How do they get held into place? Is it hard Taking the needles off and will it mess up the accuracy of the gauges removing the needles and reapplying them? Thanks!

These are precut except for a few small holes that are cut after the decal is applied. Simply cut along the outline of the hole with an exacto knife using the edge as a guide.  They are adhesive backed, just stick em on. The accurracy shoud not be affected, but you do want to make a note of where your needles are before you remove them.  Instructions are included.  If you do not want to hassle with the install, I will do it for $75 + postage.  I can also put a small tach in that end one.  Cost varies on that depending on which tach you want.

Got pics of one installed on the tach face? Also was curious which Tach you useon there. Is it the old mini Sun Tach II? That's the one I've used before and it fit really well.

Are you doing one for the rectangular speedo in the 69 B-bodies (Coronet/Road Runner)? If so, what does it go for?

Here is a pic of the set with the mini Sun tach. I am currently listing this set on ebay, Item # 794994065.  It is a real attention getter.  There are probably a couple of more expensive tachs that fit as well, but this one is reasonably priced and works great.
