another newb
« on: November 24, 2011 - 08:30:51 AM »
Hey everybody, ive been lurking for quite some time now and finally was able to get me one of these awesome cars. Only took 40 years! I have loved cudas/challys since i was a kid. I didnt want/couldnt afford a perfect show car, but i did find a really nice 70 grand coupe vert. It was originally a 318/auto. The prior owner installed a 440 from a 68 sport fury. The car runs really well and is in very good driver quality with a few issues here and there. Anyhow i am looking forward to learning even more about these cars and getting to know the "hood" on this forum.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Nice.  I think that was worth the long wait.  I think the 'driver' cars are a lot of fun, you drive them more!  I kinda like always having something to do to the car, something to look forward to.  Have fun with it.
