Gus,

I don't regularly visit this board, but I was 38 when I bought my first E-Body. Not a convertible. Not a shaker set-up. You have done well my man!   :clapping:  Yes, they are money pits. Get used to it now while you are young.

Yep, never done! I can see how it wouldnt take long before your into the big bucks and scared to leave the driveway! Im gonna try to control myself so that doesnt happen. Right now i can actually drive this one on those nice sunny sunday afternoons. Right now it is an auto, but someday i would like to drop in a manual. Aw yes "someday"!

Thx AARuFAST, no i havnt added anything yet. Bought the car the way you see it. I am going to have to replace the carb and fix the fuel gauge. Im also going to add a sure-grip diff as the current peg-leg in it now gets overpowerd pretty easily. Just aint the same laying down one single patch! As far as taking the wife for ice cream, she is already used to that. We had a 95 trans am vert for almost 10 years so she is used to the open air cars. She does like the cuda better than the t/a though. Im pretty happy with the car, there is some things that need buttoned up on it though. I cant wait to drive it! We have "snuck" it out on a couple small rides but nothing like the 200 mile rides she is going to do. Also i already have entered her in the poll. Did i see somewhere you are also from MD?

Goin' out for ice cream definitely sounds like a pretty big deal in Maryland.  We visited friends in Damascus some years ago, and they took us to Jimmy-Cones.  I think the whole town was in line there.  Quite the obsession or at least a decent excuse to take the Cuda out .
