    Love that color!  White painted top(?)  Not sure I've ever seen one of those on a Challenger, interesting!

    I noticed the white painted top after I decoded the fender tag. My body guy has a brown Challenger with white painted top. His isn't factory, but it looks pretty good. It's going to stay orange until the paint is shot, then it's probably going to change to Banana with black accents like the one on NCIS

    It looked like I might not get the car until early next week, but I told him I would give him half the money now and half when the paperwork was done, as long as I got to take the car now.
    Got it home so I changed the oil, checked the trans fluid and took it for a little run around the neighborhood to see how it ran and cornered.

    That finger wants to get in all my pictures.









    I'm not sure if the trans is slipping a little or if they just put a stock trans behind a built up engine, but it seems to have either a little problem with acceleration lag, or it's spinning the tires. It's hard to tell right now because they just did some sidewalk work here and there's dirt all over the road.

    I have to do a little transmission adjustment I think, but the lights and everything seems to be working now. I picked up a set of 14x7 Rallye wheels yesterday and threw them on the car this morning with the help of a friend.

    Now it's got 235-60 14 rubber on it and I have a shiney set of Cragar fakes sitting with BF Goodrich 235-70 14s just in case

    It's kind of odd. When I had 235-70 14s all the way around the car sat pretty flat, with maybe a little lift on the back end. Now it has 235-60 14s and it sits like a Challenger, with the back looking a little lower than the front. I think it looks pretty bada$$ myself. I'm really going to enjoy running around in it, once I get it to stop blowing blue smoke
