EK2 with H6T5 interior?
« on: November 27, 2011 - 12:47:20 AM »
Anyone have a picture of a EK2 orange car with H6T5 saddle tan interior?  Seems this would be a rather unusual combo.  Also this car had a V1X black top.  Seems like a really odd color combo. :dunno:

The really bad part about the car is that it will need a roof, sail panel, floor pans, trunk floor, and both quarters replaced.

Sweet ride!  Well worth it to restore.
Got any pics of your car anywhere?
Always like to compare to my rust bucket.

Culvers,
That picture is great.   Very nice looking interior.

The car does not belong to me.  I went this last weekend to look at the car.   The holes in the roof were at the front A-pillar and they were about 4 inches up from the factory seam.  The rear sail panel had holes large enough to put your fist through.  Tops of the fenders had rust holes about the size of a penny and both rear quarters were rust up to the top of the wheel opening.  Looking in through the windows I could see the ground.   It needs everything.

What color roof did your car have ? Very cool find, and that Chestnut interior for a '71 is real hard to find stuff. Have you started the restoration yet ? :2thumbs:

I haven't looked at this car, but somewhat local to me.  If your looking at that much work on a 318 car, this is a real EK2 R/T with a GREEN side stripe !

I presume a Maimi Dolphin fan picked the colors on that car. :roflsmiley:
