Christmas swap.
« on: November 27, 2011 - 03:53:26 PM »
Did I miss it or was there a Christmas swap like in past years? Is there any interest in getting one going if it hasn't been yet?

I think Al started to do it 6 weeks ago or so but I assume he has either been busy or not well again as I have not seen much on it .

Moparal normally does a 'Santa Claus' type of thing. I read in one of his recent posts that he's been pretty busy. I'd be game to offer up some pieces I'm not using, in the Christmas Spirit. I think the normal program is for members to post up their wishlist, and for others to post up some "Gift Parts".
I'll get the ball rolling by offering any front suspension pieces (drum brake), minus steering box and torsion bars, to include a V-8 K-Member. Just pay shipping.

Yeah, I'm kinda bumbed right now. I have all kinds of parts stacked up for my Holiday gift of giving. I have been working on the road for 3 months in 2 countries and 5 US states. Got home for wed morning and thought I could get startd now, but I am packing right now to leave out for Oregon Tomorrow, then Washington, then Louisiana.  It just really sucks for me right now. Sorry guys, but as I cruise here, I will see any wish list and do my best to give as I have over the years.  If you are building a car for your enjoyment and not for resale, I will be watching, anticipating that I have that special part for you.  I missed 5 months of work in the begining of the year due to surgery, so I have been trying to play catch up on bills n life. I only have around 3 or 4 grand in parts to give away.  Sorry, next year will be better. Moparal Speed and Equipment is going to kick in , in 2012 sometime in the summer.

Happy Holidays.............ALAN

I need the rear swaybar end links.  The ones with threads on each end.  I know I broke one of them but I can't find either one now.  I'm pretty sure I have the washers but need the end link studs.  $50 is pretty steep for a new kit IMO.  A little rust is fine...they just need to be straight and unbroken.  Thanks

I'm in.  Up for grabs a pair of repop  hood scoops, gaskets, block off plates, and some screws for a Challenger (dunno if Cudas are the same).  I bought these and never used them.  I decided I liked the existing body color scoops better. It looks like I might have taken some of the screws/swapped my originals for the repops.

If you need them for your car, all it takes is shipping.
