More dioramas----but a bit different
« on: November 27, 2011 - 05:14:36 PM »
The cars parked for the winter, it's cold outside, so I have been back at my desk building more models.  I am running out of room with the 1/24 stuff I have been doing so I decided to change gears and try some 1/64 (hotwheels) sized versions of my barn finds. It seems there are a lot of us who like to collect these minitures and there is a lot to choose from.  So here's a start on what I got done so far. I have a few more to finish up.  I will post an overview of them first, then a few more shots of each to break up the pics some.

You do a GREAT job!

Do you offer any of your work for sale? I would be interested, and I'm sure others would be too. This could be a way of making some extra $$.

Thanks everyone.   I am really hating the cold weather anymore so I try and stay inside --and this gives me something to do.  Mike---I built these smaller ones with the idea of selling them.  Just don't know how I will go about it.  I don't have paypal or anything set up. My car funds went to zero and I was trying to save up all summer to get a set of billboards for the car. Every time I had enough something came along and the funds had to go to something else. The lawn mower died, the dryer quite working, had to put new tires on the truck ect.  Never ending so maybe I will make a bunch more like these,  plus a few shelf sized ones in 1/24 scale and see if there is some more interest. Stay tuned---I think I will offer them here first.  I really want to put the billboards on this spring.
