Tell us more about the car please. It looks like a 318 with A/C. Did you restore it...is it a survivor? How close to correct is the engine comp.? It looks good from what I can see.
I'd be glad to. I would definitely classify it as a survivor. I believe it has the original 318, 904 & 8 3/4 rear. Its a high option car with an original rallye hood, A/C, PS, PB, cruise control. The color is the most unique, Mist Green, which I understand only a couple of hundred were made in this color. Add the original white vinyl top, stripes & interior and its got to be a low numbers car. That said, the color wouldn't have been a lot of peoples first choice which probably had a lot to do with so few being made in this color. At the car show I got a lot of positive comments about the car, especially the color which I think makes it look like the 70's car that it is. I bought it to hop up, but the longer I have it the more I appreciate it for the survivor it is. What mods I will end up doing, I really want to keep the original look even if I move from being the total original car it is. I bought it from the second owner who only had it a year. He bought it with the intention of putting a modern hemi in it, but decided he had too many projects. The original owner was a little old lady (no joke) who bought it in 1973 and sold it in 2009. During that time she didn't change a thing, even some things that could have used replacing like the trans mount that didn't have hardly any rubber left. She did however add a trailer hitch to tow her boat with it! You can still see where the brackets were mounted on the bumper. Honestly, it looks a little better in the picture than up close. It needs a little body work & a repaint. It needs the interior redone especially the dash pad & door panels, but for an almost 40 year old car its pretty darn nice. Thanks for asking!
