Any of y'all like hunting? Check out our Duck Truck!

Its an old 1950's 2 cylinder, air cooled diesel mounted to a T-90 Jeep transmission and transfer case.  It's a crappy video, but maybe someone will find it interesting.  It sure helps us out there in the duck marsh!! Any of you guys like to hunt?

Cool buggy!  Have ya got it stuck yet?

I like hunting.  Going white tailin Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mountain lion season just started.  Can't wait for a snow.

I use a bow, no dogs, no guns.  Track the lion and call him in with a baby elk call or turkey call.   EXCITING!!

Havn't done much birds yet.  Tried a few times for a Sand Hill crane.  No success.

What kind of ducks you after?

Oh it's been stuck plenty of times! lol it's no man's land out there, believe me.  My grandfather actually ran it off a levy once by accident and those big ole tires actually made it float. :22yikes:

He built another one that's probably 3 times bigger than that one.  I don't have any pictures of it, but it was  gnarly looking!
Here in Texas we kill all sorts of birds, mottled ducks, teal, gadwall, mallards, wood ducks, canvasback, redheads, pintail etc.  lots of snow and speckle belly geese too

I have tried for a few snow geese.  No luck yet.
Of course, I am doing that while I am hunting big game.  So, kind of the side line.

I grew up in Louisiana and I do recall shooting lots of different birds.

Colorado has somewhere around 15 different birds on the list.

I was wondering if that thing would float with those tires.
Pretty cool contraption.  I bet it gets you way out there.
