the next owner will probably just throw in a 440/426/340   the numbers 318 doesn't matter, its the color   Very cool wonder if the stripe is factory ?    Probably a fair price for that car.

That's a lot of cash for a non-number matching car.  Rare color, but since the numbers don't match and it's not a Grand Coupe, you can paint it any way you like.

Just my 2 sense,

Is there a difference between the standard 1/4 panel and a convertible piece??  That price is insane!  :dupe:

The hard top NOS 1/4 goes to the roof seam if I'm not mistaken.. they are different. This an ultra rare piece. I still remember the guy who shelled out 10,500 for just the steel 71 shaker hood (crumple zones). Small world.. ends up the org owner of that hood lived near my n-laws shorehouse..  Guy sold the hood for 3,200.. thinking that was a great deal. Guy who bought it listed on ebay month later w/ a resreve of 8k

He got it & then some. Ijust saw a 71 cuda grill w/ some cracks just sell for 2k. You'll seeee that NOS vert 1/4 pop up again down the road for 10k.. just watch  IMO

Yeah, 71Fish beat me to the post.  You can see it has a recessed area for the top to sit in when it's down and it doesn't go up to the "roof" line.

I must admit that I think that pink cuda is beautiful.  I really wish the guy I bought my cuda from hadn't painted my motor orange.  The original blue looks so nice next to the pink paint.  It seems to give the looks of the car a whole different feeling. When I rebuild the motor If I don't go pink with the motor, I may go back to blue.

Hell, I'd own a triple green E body.  I'm not that picky on color. ;D

The fender tag on the Ebay car is a poorly done repo, not an original FYI.

If the seller has the broadcast sheets like he caims, then an accurate tag could be made for it, unless the sheets were faked too.

As always, buyer beware!

I like the pink Cuda too - and its here in Dallas! I dont have enough room for another Cuda though.

I know what you mean on the engine color - its breaking some rules but I'm going plum crazy on mine when it goes back in.
