Twin bulge emblem placement

Recently got a pair of cuda 340 emblems to put on my twin bulge hood. Car is a Cuda 340 just did not come with emblems I guess. Anyone have the location and size for the holes? Maybe know of a template available? I assume they are just a push in fit with the plastic grommets holding them in place or are you supposed to remove the plastic and either install behind like an earring back or use small speed nuts like the scoops use?

I`ve seen pretty much difference in location of these emblems. I guess factory workers back in the days didn`t use the same template every day lol...  Mine are in line with the rear edge of the hood insert.  They had the push in type grommet, only one pin can be reached from the bottom. I glued mine onto the hood.   hope this helps.

I guess if you can only reach the back of one pin then the grommets must go in the hole and then push the pins into them expanding them to lock into place. That's what I was figuring. Are yours centered between the edge of the insert and back of the bulge?

not really sure what you mean.  My computer is freaking me out right now    can`t get into my photobucket right now so.... take a ruler and lay in on the picture I posted before.   Follow the line from the top of the insert towards the emblem. that line barely touches the emblem. Now follow the line from the side of the insert... that line gives you the centres of the holes.
