    If anyone is interested in that Predator Carb hit me up.  Also I believe the original color is GK6 - Dark Bronze Metalic.  Also found an old carter afb carb in the trunk.  A long bit of google searching tells me that it is a 750cfm, secondary thermoquad specifically for GM race applications,  what car or line idk but I would like to so I can market it for the right person and use the $$ for the resoration.  Carter AFB casting number D3 4762 S with no choke. :clueless:

    Not sure why you're upset with GalenG.   There's no way to make up a fender tag w/o a buildsheet/window sticker.

    W/o any info, make it any color you want with all options you want; including a four-speed.

    Not necessarily upset with him as I am his price of $1,500 - $2,000 for a visual inspection just to tell me they can't do anything...  That's absurd,  I am not attempting to claim it's a v/u code convertible.  I do want to as I have always planed to own a stock restored challenger or cuda.  So I am upset that I don't have that posibility.  But....  I will live my first post was a bit drastic had a few beers.

    Well, you do know it was GK6, and an automatic from the floor pan (and have documented that with photos), and you know it was a 383 car. I'd say restore it that way, with what ever options that you want that would be correct of '71.  if you detail every item, you will have a winner, even with out the data plate.

    Paying GG is useless as all the information to decode a car is already out there.

    Maybe if you stumbled on a Hemi car and wanted to know if it was really legit, but still.  Info is out there.

    Looks like a Burnt Orange car.  I always like that color.  Would look good w/black interior and black R/T stripes on the side.

    Go to Hamtramck-historical.com and type in your VIN number.  If Barry has some info on your car, he'll give it to you.
