I have switched my bumpers on my car to 70 bumpers & have the solid chrome bumperettes. I recently bought the "L" shaped brackets to mount these from AMD. Can anyone tell me if I need to remove the bumper to install these. I'm hoping not but I have tried to get the bolt in from the backside and just can't seem to be able to get to it. I notice that a lot of members leave them off but I like the look with them on. Any help would be appreciated.
