Electronic FP Guage
« on: December 08, 2011 - 09:51:30 PM »
I want to monitor fuel pressure from the drivers seat. Anyone know of a reasonable priced electronic digital FP guage available to mount on the left of the column in the same panel that houses the heater controls. Want a transducer type as I do not want to bring fuel inside the cab.

Thanks Steve. Was hoping for a digital but analog may do.

If you are looking for a carb version of 20 PSI and less it may be a trick to find a digital one. All the ones I see are designed for upto 100 PSI ranges which usually means they won't be very accurate in the sub 20 PSI range. Being 2 PSI off is not a big deal in the fuel injection world, but is in the carb world. Personally I would use an isolator to keep a mechanical gauge.

looks like cyberdyne makes a 0-16 PSI digital gauge  for under $100.

I went that way some years ago after too many fuel related problems. I bought this from Summit Racing, but the manufacturer escapes my memory.   :banghead:

I don't know why it looks reddish on the gauge, because it isn't.
