Another Hi from Europe - this time England
« on: December 10, 2011 - 06:05:41 PM »
 :england:
Hi guys
Ok I own a B body, a '66 Belvedere II convertible 440+6  :smokin: , but my Chevy owning mate Steve recently acquired one of his dream cars, a '70 Cuda 440+6 4 speed, full No's matching in Burnt Orange. He is not great on the technical side of things, hence me being here for help in the details in continuing the restoration of the Cuda. The previous owner had started to restore it (not that it needed much, just cosmetics ) back in '03, but divorce meant lost interest and then having to sell.
The car was imported into the UK in '96 from Collegeville, Pennsylvania and was a dream find over here as not only is it all original and unmolested, but 99 % rust free as well, all original floors, quarters etc. The car is already being prepped for paint, not to end up a show queen, but a very clean usable classic.
Cheers
Martin

Welcome to the site Martin! Should prove interesting to see if the Cuda can handle the Belvedere! Nice to have mates with good taste in cars.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
