Wow, I just finished looking at all your pics. Did they bring back memories from 15 years ago when I did mine. Like you I had a ton of sheet metal work but back then they didn't make all the repair panels they do now. You're doing a beautiful job. Stick with it and you will so happy when it's done. It took me a solid year to get it done. They are never really done. If you are like me, I just can't keep my hands off the car. I'm always changing things.

Sprayed the under side of the hood and trunk deck last night.

There is 3 steps and 7 coats to the final colour.

FYI... I'd ditch that fan. It's not  uncommon for them to crack and take out the rad.... :scared:

:iagree:  A thermal clutch  fan works quite nicely.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

I am using a RM product
Onyx-HD. Water base

It is a 2 part colour. The base is a dark brown/ black. The blue colour is a low hide. The clear is also a RM product. DC -98.

2 coats of each.

My primer sealer is Nason 421-10 Epoxy Primer Surfacer

My High solids Primer is Nason 491-10

Today I sprayed inside the trunk. Sprayed the rear inner fender wells. Hinges for trunk and hood.
Sprayed inside of front fenders with clear rock guard.

Busy day.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
