Working on the Fire wall and removed the upper cowl. Lots of patching.

I think I am going to have a huge trigger finger from all the welding. Spot- let cool, Spot- let cool, Repeat, Repeat, Repeat......

Sprayed the firewall with Epoxy primer.

Fitting the upper cowl and inner fenders before and fastening.

Found the inner fender attachment brackets, do not line up with upper cowl. Yet they line up with the shock towers. It seems like the cowl to inner fender is not plumb on the front. I might have to do a little metal magic to make them look correct.

It looks like my fire wall 3 months ago.  How does the upper cowl fit?  I got a Goodmark one and it fits well except the top area that the windshield fits in.  They didn't make the recess deep enough on the ends.

Mine is AMD. It fits good in all spots except where the inner fenders attach.  I am thinking it could be the fender cut outs for the shock tower might be a little too low.
I am going to string them tomorrow and get a reference to adjust to.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
