Hotrod harness and ECU for late model hemi swaps for sale!
« on: December 14, 2011 - 05:51:06 PM »
For sale is a 5.7 Hemi ECU and Hot rod style Harness.
The ECU is out of a 03 Ram 3500 with a 5.7 hemi. The computer is set up to see only the engine so you can bolt up a old 904 or 727 to a late model hemi without having tuning issues.
Its been wiped of any security programming so the computer doesn't look for a safety signal and starts the car.

The harness was professionally custom made from scratch for a Truck Hemi with the older coil packs. (the ones where the wires go from side to side over the top of the intake.)
It has all of the plugs that go to the computer and has an OBD2 port that you can mount under the dash.
All wires are enclosed in heat shrink tubing and have all brand new plug ends. (most of them still have the labels put on them from Hot wire auto.)

I also have what is called a "Bell Crank" a Throttle position sensor that Is needed to take a mechanical signal (cable driven gas pedal) and turn it into an electric one for the ECU to read.
This is a necessary part that will be needed to perform an engine swap.

Last I have a Diablo sport tuner that I used for this setup. It can be used to upload preset tunes, read codes, and watch/record real time data.
If you end mod your hemi engine you can also use this handheld to upload and download custom made tunes from your computer to your ECU.

I have Run all of these parts for one year and all worked great but I have other plans for my car and no longer need these parts. I would like to see all of them go together to someone who is looking to take a modern day hemi and put it in their Classic Mopar. When I originally bought all of these pieces separate I paid over 2200 dollars. Now I am only looking to get 1800 for all of them. All parts are still installed on the car for anyone who would like to see all of the pieces in working order. I can upload a video for anyone who is serious about buying.

My Cell is 716-908-4351 and my name is Chris. Feel free to call anytime between 10am -10pm EST. Its the best way to reach me.

I hate to rain on your sale but your prices are a little high.

A new harness is 1000 and an updated ECM is 600 from hot wire and that's for the better coils.

Used tuners are abbot 200

Well 1800 is just a starting price that I thought I would put up. I would like to also point out that you forgot about the bell crank wich is 300 from the dealer. I know I will never get back what I paid for everything I just want to get rid of it. and I know hot much it is from hot wire. I bought my stuff from them. Still cost 1000 to make a harness new coil packs or not.

Can you use this with a newer motor 2007 chrysler 300?
Can you use the newer factory pedal drive by wire from the same car?

Thanks for the computer and harness Chris, it appears to be in good condition, and I was able to figure out what the unlabeled plugs were.

Can't wait to get it installed.

Thanks,
Chris
