71 Cuda H6T7 interior Brown/Tan
« on: December 16, 2011 - 06:41:07 PM »
Forgive my ignorance but is there anything that they DO NOT re-produce for a H6T7 interior on a 71 Cuda?

And where should I go to look for it please?

Pretty much everything as far as interiors go is reproduced.  If it's not, it's easy to change the color by dying it.

You can look on Legendary's website for a list of the colors they do.  They're kinda known as the best when it comes to reproducing interiors.... but not cheap to buy.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

You will not find anything plastic for it that is reproduced except for the console in Black as the H6T7 '71 interior had Brown interior with a Black console. The only way i have found to find these parts in colors is to continuously look at e-bay and for sale sections in forums, Legendary will be able to hook you up with the seat skins, no problems. You could color dye, but in my experience, as soon as it scratches ( :pullinghair: ), it will reveal the underneath color, so i personally will never dye any panels in my own personal car. :2thumbs:

Maybe next time I'm up at Mopar Sunday I'll come by and pinch yours kenny!

Why do Legendary and Jims auto parts just to name tw,o have them listed as being avail?

http://www.jimsautoparts.com/interior_panels.htm

Are they not true to 1971?

Hello Tim, The panels that Legendary and Jims auto parts have are the Palco brand panels, the Palco range of colored plastic is dyed over either Black or White as the base depending on final color to be dyed. Metro are the only company reproducing colored door panels for the moment, but they do not do Tan, they do true color injected molded panels in Red, Blue, White, Black, i have an attached un-official color list on the Metro door panel thread to get numbers for colors and convertibles http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=Deals&Number=5584551&page=0&fpart=16 . I will start a new thread later with a link also about more colors wanted.

You will have to get specific for 1971 panels also, they are the same as 72-74, but the color you want is near impossible to find.

Kenny.
