Yeah mule kicker, that's why the M-14 is no longer a main stay!! Heavy and the First full auto round maybe hit the target if you aimed right!!! and the rest are on thier way to the moon from the kick!! 3 round burst great round saver, if supression is needed that is when the Saw's , 240's are handy. 203 40mm grenade launchers to get the point across. The bipod 240's and 249's are pretty controllable in 7-9 rnd bursts. I was dropping Crazy Ivans on the range everytime at 800yrds with the 240.

M1 garand is great. Love shooting my bros, and that was the best gun im WW II.
M1 carbine, don't know about the older ones, but my bros new one shoots great, at least to about 200yds. Never shot anything bigger then a coyote though.
I had an Israeli pattern FAL, didn't like it. Got rid of it. Too heavy and bulky.
I like the AR action, and the 6.8 keeps a lighter weight but still more knockdown. 5.56 has a LOT of shortcomings, and I know everyone else who has been in combat knows why....
7.62 ARs are great for longer ranges, but for clearing houses you can't beat short stocking a SAW!!!
