front shocks recommendations?

Anyone have a good front shock preference?

This will be for local car shows.   No drag racing.

I'm happy with the Bilstein shocks so far. Depends if you want improved handling or just a cruiser?

I have Edelbrock IAS shocks and am happy with them. Big improvement over an original equipment type of shock. Much better at holding the road through bumps and corners. They are about $80 each if I remember right. But depending on how you are going to use your car, the sky is the limit on the kind of $ you can spend. You really do get what you pay for in shocks.

Brad your car is lowered right?  Where you able to get shocks from Bilstein that fit a lowered car? 

I'm still looking for a supplier for my car which is lowered.

You get what you pay for when it comes to shocks.    IF you want to tune your ride, consider the double adjustable type from various companies -- Vikings are made by the originators of QA1 (which previously bought out Carrera), and the Vikings are only available as a dbl-adjustable shock, keeping their prices reasonably low for this type of shock.

Otherwise, I'd simply go with Bilstiens (non-adjustable).   KYBs aren't bad, but better are available... pending how much you want to spend.
