I am listing this for the widow of a fellow Mopar Nut that I knew and used to horse trade with for many years. She's ready to move on and wants to sell his baby.

This car's rebirth started with a 23,000 mile original 318 car. It is extremely clean inside and out. All of the nooks and crannies are super clean. The 340 in it runs great and sounds awesome. It has been mini-tubbed. The rear tires are 315/50/15's Mickey Thompson's. The interior is almost perfect - only flaw is a tear in the back side of the passenger side front seatback. Has all seat belts. All weather stripping is new. Has manual steering and manual front disc brakes. Has square tube frame connectors. Doors shut perfect.

This car is pretty much DONE. Needs next to nothing. Paint is in great shape (only one small scratch in driver side fender). About the only thing I'd say it needs is a front end alignment.

Pictures don't do this car justice - "Kermit" is beautiful!

Asking $16,500 and she won't take much less than that so don't try to steal it from her. She does not need the money (luckily the owner had enough life insurance), she just does not want the car to sit in the garage and collect dust when it could go to somebody that appreciates it and will enjoy as much as her husband did.

Steve - yes, this car is REALLY nice.  I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could.  Sad situation though, he was just 53 and the only real reason he is gone is because the Dr.'s did not diagnose him properly until it was too late.  I'd known Roger for close to 20 years.  Used to buy/sell parts back and forth.

He also had another car at a restoration shop for a number of years.  They soaked him for over $25 grand (labor and materials only - not parts) and this is what his widow got when she went to pick the car up

Yes, but you can always make an offer.  I doubt she'd go below $15K however. She does not "need to sell it" and is just looking to move it out of her garage and have someone own it that can/will drive it and appreciate it.  It's too much car for her to handle between the manual steering and the power that the 340 puts down, it scares the heck out of her  :22yikes:

I just got off the phone with the widow and the car is still for sale.  She is ready to accept offers now. The price of $16.5K is not quite as firm as it was a few months ago.  She's tired of having a car in her garage that she cannot drive and would like it to go to a good home where it just doesn't sit around..

The owner came by my shop yesterday with the car - she's ready to sell and will accept offers.  You can probably pick the car up for under 15K now.  I should have some pics of the underside from her later today.

The car is very clean underneath.  It looks like a factory undercoated car.  Floors and frame rails have no rust whatsoever.  Welded in frame connectors.  The factory fuel tank has had a rear-sump installed.  The rear is an 8.75 with bracing, gears look like 3.91's, spool with strange axles.  The block is dated 2-10-72.  I also verified that it is a 340. Shocks are all Competition Engineering.  Exhaust has flowmaster mufflers with turn downs at the rear end. The headers have one tube that goes through the fender wheel and dual exhaust has cutouts for the track.  It has chrome traction bars (which obviously can go if you install a pinion snubber).

The bad - one of the brake calipers is sticky but that may just be because the car has not been driven in a year+. The gas gauge is not working nor are the windshield wipers.  Tires look like they are getting a little old.  Headers are looking rusty.
