Purchased my 66 Fury in 1978 for the astounding sum of $25. I t had belonged to a friend during our high school days and like most kids , he had pretty well abused it. After we had graduated , his family was moving out of state and did not want to take the car with him. It was really nothing more than a big old used Plymouth but it was a convertible and it could be had cheap, so what the heck. The motor was barely running, the interior shot, and the plastic rear window on the top was a memory. Over the next 30 plus years basically everything on the car has been repaired, rebuilt, or replaced. I have had it painted twice now. It is a Poly 318 with a column shift automatic, nothing really special but it is a nice cruiser. I have thought of selling over the years but knew I would never replace it if I did. Right now I look at it as inexpensive to keep and we have some fun with it. It has been to Carlisle 4 times and driven to Moparfest in Canada 3 or 4 times.
My Wife and I purchased our Challenger in 2004.
