More model building fun.
« on: December 24, 2011 - 12:01:18 PM »
Here's a couple of my lates ones.  The charger was done as a christmas present for my son in laws dad. He is a huge mopar fan. He has a 65 cuda race car that runs mid to high 8 sec. I found out that this car was bought by his dad in 65. He also has a 68 cuda formula S,67 coronet, and a 68 charger. He bought the charger when he was 16 and still has it. I think he will like this for his shop.  The second one is still a work in progress. I can use this as an extension to my barn dios to change them up some.  Have to make about a dozen more hay bales somehow, add a plow or disking equipment on the end, maybe an old tractor.  These can be as bad as the car----always adding something, and never quite done.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Thanks everyone. Santa got me some more models and a nice Iwata air brush. I think this will give me a whole new area to experiment with. Have I mentioned how I HATE the cold, so with winter basically just starting I will have a lot of time at the work bench.  I will try and not bombard every one with to many posts---but I still have a few more ideas I want to try.   Stay tuned for more.    :P       Doug

I wish I had those skills, those are awesome Dioramas.  My model buiding days are over, but I have 16 Mopar model kits that I have not touched and need to find a way to sell them.  If anyone knows someone looking for them, let me know.  I have had these kits for over 10+ years.  There really is no place to list on the Classifieds.
Keep sending those pics of your great creations.
Happy New Year all.............
