Vinyl top install
« on: December 29, 2011 - 11:41:10 AM »
I was looking to see what the ball park cost is to have a vinyl top put on my challenger. I figured somone on the board has had this done in the past. I have a new top already and plan on taking the existing one off the car and prepping the surface. I'm not planning on doing it myself again. That was a complete nightmare. Thanks!!!!!

After I had my car painted and was ready for my vinyl top,, I debated long and hard on whether  I was going to do it myself or have it done by some one who knew what they were doing.  It was pretty expensive to have it done, as I had all ready had the top also. I decided to bite the bullet and took it to a shop and had it done.  That sure was the right decision ---came out looking great.  He used a steamer, sealed all the edges, ect.  I paid just under $300.00 for the labor,  about 2 years ago.
