Shopping list for 70 Cuda
« on: December 29, 2011 - 02:43:18 PM »
This is what I know I need, is there anything else I need to check for besides the frame rails.

4sp floor pan
rear floor pan
rear floor pan under seat
quarter patch panels - both side
full trunk pan
Gutters along the trunk lid - D/S

Do not know about the firewall, looks good from what I can view.

So who has the best sheetmetal, I want to buy all at once, so if you see something I missed or should check, please chime in.

you may also need

•   Dutchman Panel, under the rear window
•   Trunk quarter extensions (left/right) they go alongside the trunk pan
•   Trunk pan braces (they attach to the trunk floor) if the trunk is rusted, more than likely so are these
How is the front of the car?  Inner finders, finders, header panel.

Also, the quarter panel patch panels are hit and miss on fitment and quality, so you may want to go full finders.

I like AMD panels, and a good source is Rosevillemoparts    http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=43582.0

Dave gives a discount to CC members and shipping is great.

I agree. Tear it down at the least before ordering any parts. You will save a good bit on shipping and have no delays waiting for parts. I've sold a lot of AMD parts to CC members and other forums, some guys order parts as repairs progresses and wasting money on shipping instead of buying everything at once .

If you need a quote, send me email or PM, I'll hook you up.

It would be nice to see a lot of pictures of this car before you get started ordering all of this sheet metal as I have a fear you may get in too deep financially.  What are we starting with as far as drivetrain and does all of it need to be rebuilt?  This is a great hobby, but...........
