truck mirror extensions for towing

I have a 2010 Ram 1500 and need to extend my mirrors so I can see while towing an enclosed trailer. The problem is I can't find anything for a 2010 or newer. I find them for 2008 models. Does anyone know if the 2008 mirrors are the same as the 2010?

The DR body style mirrors(2002-2008) will not fit the 2009 an newer DS trucks. 2009 also differs from 2010's. We switch mirrors frequently at time of sale on new units so my best advice is see if you can find some new/used factory trailer tow mirrors from a 2010.

What about the generic mirror extensions that simply strap onto your existing mirrors?  These are available at auto parts stores and the like.

I guess it comes down to how much do I want to spend. Factory trailer mirrors - ~$275 on e-bay, strap on mirrors ~$30.
