vac leak on ac/heat control

i have a leak were the hoses hook to the control. the clamp is on proper,if i push the hoses in towards the control the leak stops.so do i use a gasket sealer on it?thanks for any help  dave

Is the leak in the hose or possibly in the controller itself? Also I wonder if a bit of some type of grease/Vaseline might seal things up.

i will try grease,control good and hoses seem fine

The controls are available and not too expensive, so you might want to eliminate a problem there.

I just replaced my controller. The hard part I had was finding the proper vacuum connector. It seems nobody makes a proper replacement.
