"Exercising" the '66 Plymouth
« on: January 06, 2012 - 05:53:45 PM »
I haven't started the '66 Plymouth Fury (383-4 bbl) for about two months. I figured it was time to drive it and do a video at the same time. Left it in 1st gear throughout the burnout (the speedo going up to just under 40 mph). Camera was on a tripod. I do like the sound of a 1960s/early-'70s Mopar V-8!

Thanks, hooD. I didn't own a Mopar between 2003 and 2008 and really missed the Mopar "sound." I do own a '69 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with the big 472 engine and it makes a nice rumble sound, but it's well-muffled so it's not quite the same thing.

Made two more videos today.
With the first one, you may want to jump ahead to about 0:40 because I was running back to and starting the car in the 1st part of the video.
The second video is kind of a "second choice." I had another corner in mind but there were some people outside so I chose another street. Next time I will do one at the street I wanted to.
