There's a Holley 650 DP sitting on mine. The 340 does have a mild cam, headers, and ignition though. Any plans for the 318?

plans for the engine. well i need to get a steady job first.thanks to all who have helped me out.all have been great to me.just trying to get the car all together first, that is missing pieces.im hoping to go with a 440/383 but it will most likely be a 360. good on gas . gave a friend a 383 about 7 years ago and if he still has it i know he will give it back to me. for now just want to put a 4 barrel on and duel exhaust. should be good enough for a year or so. $300 for the exhaust to be done, was trying to get my moneys worth.but lets be real going from 440 6pac to 318 4 barrel ,  exhaust is not going to make a differance.

That's a good intake for small blocks so if your plans are to reuse it,, get a larger carb that will work on the 360 later. Keep that in mind with the exhaust upgrade as well.

The 318 heads have smaller intake ports than the manifold.  You can bolt it on but it won't work as well as it would with 340/360 heads.

I'd use an edelbrock performer and a thermoquad on the 318.
Sell the LD340,(to me)
