2013 Challenger

I just watched the public reveal of the 2013 Dodge Dart.....I have to rant on this......If Dodge is watching the boards, please incorporate the full surround tail light of the Charger and the new Dart into the rump of the Challenger.  Rant off!

Thanks, Mike. I was wondering how they could justify a retro Dart, if there were enough buyers. Apparently the answer is there's not, and they can't, so they've made a Nissan GT-R and put a Dart name on it

A typical boo-boo.

I guess this is the Avenger replacement as the mid-sized 4 door car. Nothing about it gets me excited.   :o

It's OK. If I was looking for a car I'd think about it. I just take exception to it being called a Dart, just like I take exception to the Charger being called a Charger.

Just another flashy foor-door from Dodge.  All flash and zero substance.  Too much facia, too round in the back end - a restyled Neon with pretty lights.

That's exaclty what it is meant to be.  The Caliber wasn't a good replacement for the Neon.  Hopefully this will be.

:iagree:  Mentioned this also on another thread.  Love the new Charger taillights.  It'll look sorta like the 2008 Concept Challenger.

I think someone on Moparts asked about bulb replacement on the Charger.  Unfortunately, you have to replace the entire light assemby and it isn't cheap.  There's no way to replace individual bulbs.  A few people have already had bulbs go out.  This will end up being a big problem if they don't redesign the light bars.

Ewww...that's not good.

How does the new Charger taillight assembly work?  Are they fiberoptic or LED or something else?  :clueless:  They just look so coooool!

Someone posted the factory drawing and it looks like  they are LED's.  There is NO separate part number for the bulbs....just a part number for the entire panel.

There are 164 LED's in the taillight assembly on the new Charger. There are no individual replacement bulbs as they are most likely soldered in place. If people are having bulbs go out on there Chargers now they should go have the dealer replace the assembly under warranty.
