Boy that MSD set-up looks easy in their video. I wonder why they want you to use their rubber hose instead of the original hard fuel line in the car??

Brad, I'll need someone to weld in that O2 sensor. Are you up for a road trip?   :naughty:

no worries mike you can come up our house we are 50 min from glenburnie and kenny can weld it in for you no problem..

SDSEFI has a killer computer/ controller & it is completely tunable without a laptop , it has its own hand held tuner included , we used the Eddy intake predrilled for injectors & supplied with fuel rails , but still had to buy fuel pumps , regulators & throttle body & make up lines etc

Yeah I really want to go with MPFI but I have a stroked 400 and as far as I know, there isnt a mass produced fuel injection manifold. I think the TBI systems will keep me happy and is considerably less. I know MPFI is better, but it's hard for me to justify the additional cost.

I like this MSD kit but Shelby brings up an excellent point about the first release. The FAST EZEFI has already been tried and proven, so I'll probably go that route unless something changes in the next month or two.

Do you use the original hard fuel line, or use a rubber line piggy-backed to the original as the MSD video shows?

In my mind, I can't see how the rubber line is any better than the hard line.   :clueless:

The rubber hose is the easy way to getit installed quickly.  I use 3/8 brake line and use fittings to hook it all together. You can also buy rolls of brake line at any good auto parts store. I use the original 5/16 or 3/8 line as the return line.
I don't like running lots of rubber line, even though it is fuel injection and chemical rated.  There is lots of stuff in gasoline that kills rubber and hose compounds. I also use the stock pickup but start looking for gas stations when the gauge reads 1/4 tank.
