Your tail lamps and cig lighter are off of the same fuse. f you have power on both sides of fuse 4 but have no power at the cigar lighter connector, you have a broken wire 'somewhere' between the fuse and the lighter. No easy way to figure out where. You gotta follow the wire until you find the break. If your tail lights are out too, then I would think you have a bad connector right at the fuse box. There are two wires off of fuse #4, one for tail lights and one for battery acc feed that includes the lighter. If you contort your neck enough, and look under the dash you will find a red three connection molding that is the only connection between the fusebox and the cig lighter. The map light also is connected there. Maybe your problem lies within that red mold connector. Make sure you are looking at the right one though. There is a red one and an orange one and a yellow one. With poor lighting, you may confuse the red and orange connector. Ask me how I know.  ::)

Ok thanks for that info.....taillights are working.   I just didn't know where the red connector was?   So it is under the dash and not behind a side panel or anything?

IIR, it is about in the middle, a bit to the left of the middle. It just comes off the main dash harness. Just hanging there.  If you get your head mashed in between the console and gas pedal and look up, you should
be able to see it.

Well no console and the seats are out already since I'm installing new carpet so my fat head should fit up in there.  Going to work on it later today and will post an update.  Thanks for all the help!!

Just checked mine. It is  above the radio. Gotta get your head on the trans hump to see it.

Sorry guys . . selling foreclosures here in Michigan has kept me busy the last few days.  I plan to get out there either today or tomorrow for sure and make some progress.  I definitely appreciate all the help!

OK well . . . . Houston I think we have a problem!!

So what color wire is suppose to be in the empty connection?  Also the plug behind is a two prong outlet, one vertical and the other horizontal and that appears to be unplugged as well.  Couldn’t find anything to plug into it?   I guess it could have been the original radio connection?

The stock radio does have a connection like that.  It supplies the power/light to the radio face.
