The Cudaguy's car
« on: January 10, 2012 - 11:23:35 PM »
Hey guys.  I have been having my ups n down for quite a bit now.  But still pushing forward.  2012 is looking better for me, if I can get my health back right.  I have been tinkering in my shop on and off all week. AND

Don's car is running now. Born Jan 10 2012 at 10pm.   Still got a ways to go for all his wants, but the engine is very crisp sounding. Responds very well.  After I get back from the doc, I will chime back on.  I know Don will be excited.

I miss all you long timers around here. I have lost some phone numbers to , when I switched to a new phone.

I am also currently building a 511 B1 head stroker for my 68 dart race car.   Looking for some good et times with it.  I plan on being at carlisle.

Alan, it is great to hear from you...    :ylsuper:   Sounds like the CudaCar is gonna be a beast.  You should take it over to Steele and get her dialed in. If you do decide to get it dialed in, let me know, I would ride over and hang out.....       :rebel:

Thanks for the welcome back guys  Gonna go to doc at 145, so I got some time to gather up my thoughts on what's next in Don's car. He called me 4 time zones away last night. He is stoked to say the least.

Ken, steel is closed for a bit as you know, but I hope to get over there once the gates open up.  Don's car only has T/A radials on it. I'm guessing it wouldn't hook, and a lot of effort to be made to just get a low 7 out of it with the current tires. I plan on dragging the dart over there and trying out the approx 900 hp engine I built for the dart. The dart weighs in under 2700, so it's a screamer.

It has been raining hard and constant for 4 days now. Limits a lot of what I want to try to do right now around here.

Cooter, I will go through my pm's and see what's up in there.
