Looks good. I painted the interior, underside, engine bay, etc., in orfder to get some practice in before i attempted to paint the rest of the car. I learned a lot! if i had a couple thousand dollars extra, i would paint my car again. Have a few boo boo's, but what i learned was priceless. Lots of good posts on the subject and techniques. i would read them all ibefore i started painting the rest of your car.
Yeah for sure! I scuffed the epoxy primer under her last night and painted under the car. I left a piece of myself up there on the shop floor, as the car is on jack stands.. I'd turn the gun and a little paint would occasionally come out of the hole in the paint gun hopper thang... lol.. Then I'd get my arm in it, and be painting, an then move and peel a layer of skin.. Crazy.
Looks good though; No runs, drips or sags and I think the coverage was good.
Now the humidity is coming up and it's raining, so likely no urethane-bugfogger-painting tonight, but other than really inspecting under there for any misses most of the bottom of the car is done. Well, still have to do back wheel wells, and under the trunk. At least I can move under there.
I may not in fact paint the exterior. Not sure yet, but am trying like mad to get the car done underneath and the running gear back under it...
Whew..
Also, managed to load the rear end with springs still attached into back of truck by myself yesterday and took it to the media blaster... that mofo was heavy.
Pictures later..
stay mopar my friends!
