News:
Just got finished digging out almost 2ft of snow(with the drifting) in front of the garage. Looked at the gran coupe convertible and all the stuff around it, wasn't too happy. Came inside to get ready for the football games and you had to go show me such a nice car.
OK, I don't get it!It's a beautiful car, but 44K? The antenna is wrong, the engines the wrong color, has after market A/C in the interior and nothing in the engine compartment.Am I wrong to think 30K?
Solly Cholly, engine is the correct color for 330 horse 383,just like the blue one in my 70 GC.If you ordered A/C the engine would be orange and 335hp/383
E63 is the 335 hp 383, and thats what the tag shows. Holleys were on all HP 383's in 70 and 71 and these engines were orange. A/C and a Carter 4bbl had Blue/Turquiose paint as per Galens casting book.
I dunno; I'd rather have this one for $29k:
JUst checked my decode i have framed for Galen. Its E63 also but says it 330h/p 383.What the real story? If it had A/C from the factory wouldnt it be 335h/p orange engine?
K, lets get away from the HP numbers. There were only 2 383's available in 1970, a 2bbl or a 4bbl. 4bbl was the N code Hp 383. it was 330hp or 335hp with a M.T.The only way it should have been Blue from original is if it had a carter 4BBL with the A/C. Are you sure the car was never apart anywhere in it's long life? Might be one of those few exception stories.
