I'll actually stand by ebay/paypal when it comes to buying things. I spent $5k a couple years ago on a twin turbo kit for my 350z. Kit was supposed to be brand new in box. It got here and had all kinds of stuff missing, including one of the turbos! I complained to ebay and paypal. They said I had to contact the seller and get his address so that I could return the stuff and get a refund. I emailed the seller 5 times with no replies. So I told them that, they spent another month trying to get ahold of the seller and they couldn't (I couldn't mail back at the address they had because it was a p.o. box). So they gave me a complete refund and I got to keep the parts! Ended up selling it as a partial kit to a couple guys I know down here that run a high performance tuning place. Got $800 from them for the turbo, and I threw in all the piping and such for free.
Cuda is gone :(

:wow: I got lucky I guess, bought a Rally Guage set for $450.00 on E-Bay last month. Arrived and looked great. Took them to a Speedo Resto Shop and the tech said they were excellent shape, original and needed only clean and lube. Hell, clock even keeps good time!

The seller actually responded fast and said that he has been out due to a surgery and a worker did the set. I am sending it back as he promises to make this right. I have to hold my breath for a bit and hope this works out. I have had alot of great ebay experiences so I have to have faith in this guy.
On a better note, cass from doctor diff has nursed me through my green bearing and rear disc swap. What an awesome business person, answered all my dumb questions promptly.I would highly suddest doing business with them.
I will finish a project.I will finish a project. I will finish a project.

To cover your backside I would still register a complaint with e-bay as you have a time limit to do so. The seller could be just dragging his feet with this to burn up time? Sure would be great if everyone was honest.... but they are not all the time.  :2cents:

 :iagree:

You can retract the complaint after he has made good on it. I got hosed on ebay several times when I first started buying rimblow steering wheels. That's back when a lot of the shady people would only accept money orders then drag their feet for several weeks before sending me a rusted, broken worn out piece of crap that was described as "It will pass as NOS"

I don't buy them from ebay anymore, too risky.
