About 15 years ago I traded a guy an old engine stand that was given to me, for a gym bag with 4 holley carbs in it. I don't remember at the time even looking to see what they were. Last month I came across the gymbag in an old utility shed I have and decided to see what they were. Turns out to be 2-600 vac secondary Holley's , 1 with an electric choke and 1 with manual. Both of these look to be 95% complete. (as it turns out they were only missing float level plugs!. So now the other 2 dont look so happy. And of course it would be too good to be true if these were as complete. The other pair of Holleys turns out to be 700 double pumpers with the larger accell pump housings on both and both had the fuel line with them. Both were manual choke, (i think thats the only way they came). So I tear them down to hot tank them and and re build them when I find the secondary throttle shaft has cracked the base plate on one ...but the other one is fine. Well you can imagine what 15 years of corrosion looks like so i start cleaning the good 700 up. I just don"t know when to quit as the pictures will show ...lol
Lots more to do to this one before re-assembly and the 2 600 are next ...LOL
this only took about 4hours with a lot of dremel tools
